While giving you the key to start working on your web site straight away, Startcell is not a dumb template, you are working with your Designer to ensure the site matches closely your expectations.
Adding data and working on your text is a long process but not costing you anything - you enter the data once to be used indefinitely, in many ways, on one or more sites.
You have
two separate control zones:
1:
NUZ (Netcells User Zone) to control your site's
content
2:
cPanel - to control your site's server
functions (email, traffic data, disk space and many more)
Here is some general advice for progressing with your new Startcell site:
-+- content is king - people that matter go on Internet to find information of interest, not watch animations - keep adding content in NUZ, especially text, you can keep it switched off until ready
-+- do not rush it - you already
are on the Internet - make sure you understand what you are doing
-+- check your site on different computer systems and screens, it will look different in each case, take notice of that
-+- the is no point in adding new pages/section to your site until you have something to put in those sections
-+- think of strategy to promote your site
-+- think of the search engines, work on your text and add links to your site
-+- Internet is a constantly evolving system, do not abandon your site once set up, all sites need updating
-+- put all the comments, observations and questions in NUZ > Comms > Boards, so that they can be dealt with efficiently
