Building web sites is not terribly high on my list of fun activities, it depends on you and the kind of site you want.
Many people are impossible to design for, as they come with their own fixed (and therefore by definition wrong) ideas about Internet and what their site should be like. Building sites, which are never updated is neither useful or interesting. The sites I build put the functionality, such as the visitors interaction and the ease of updating, first.
