Well, of course it does.
I started working with Internet in 1997, because, even then, I realised its key importance.
I have earned thousands of dollars working with people I have never met. and, I am sure, this will continue.

I can live and work in just about any place on the planet - a laptop with fast Internet connection is all I need.
It seems quite clear that in future most business will be done via the Internet in some form or another, most incomes will be delivered through the wires, just like the electric power or voice communications.
