Thanks for asking.
Images take time to produce and manage and,
quite apart from that, images have value, otherwise people like me would have to go and find a regular job. If you appreciate that fact then read on...
1.
My images on Getty Images
Those images are clearly marked, they finance my photography, do
not use those images in whatever way, or you might end up dealing with lawyers ! You can
not get high resolution copies of those images unless you buy them from
›Getty Images.
2.
My images of you (which are not on Getty Images)
If you are in the image you can use it anyway you like for your personal enjoyment
and your self-promotion, if you are able to sell an image i will give you a profit share which is just too good to publish here, you have to contact me directly.
3.
My images of other people
Rules of law and civilised behaviour apply here, if you re-blog an image or publish it on social network give us a link/acknowledgement. If you are considering a commercial use contact me and we will make an agreement, person in the picture gets a good share.
4.
My illustration images
Personal or educational use with a link/acknowledgement is ok - let me know and i might give you a link back.
If you are considering a commercial use contact me.
Images initially placed by me on the Internet after a photo session are
unprocessed - they can be substantially enhanced.
You are specifically
not permitted to alter the images or incorporate them in other images.
All my images are also available as prints.
I am happy that my images are used - i do not make them for myself. To research ways of using my images to the benefit of all people concerned I have set up a new site
›jdimg.net - refer to that site for future developments.
